Thanks to the hard work of the students and teachers, a great deal of learning took place and quite a bit of fun, too, during the six weeks of elementary summer school . Enjoy the rest of the summer. School starts at the United Campus on September 2nd!

Great Opportunity to Help Blair-Taylor Kids
The Blair-Taylor School District has an opportunity to receive a $5,000 donation from Ashley Furniture Industries. This money would go to help support kindergarten through twelfth grade students for things such as field trips, parent/child events, playground equipment and much more. In order to receive this generous donation, we are asked to supply 75 volunteers to work various shifts at the Ashley for the Arts event on August 8th and 9th.

BT Sporting Clay Target Team, coached by Mr. Todd Perry, competed at the state competition held in Waukesha, Wisconsin, recently. Team members represented BT very well. Varsity competitor, Jackson, placed 1st at the varsity level and was named Grand Champion, beating out all competitors at all levels. Way to go Jackson and team!
The Move is On!
Wow, many students, thanks in large part to Mrs. Hulne and Ms. Riemer who enlisted the band and choir students, descended on the schools like, as one student said, "an army." They were amazing! Packing, moving boxes, throwing garbage... The students and teachers worked very hard to clear out all rooms in the 7-12 building to allow TCI to get busy on the remodeling. Then the students moved on to the elementary. What generosity and energy!
It's Music to our Ears!
On Saturday, May 3, students from the Blair-Taylor band competed at the State Solo/Ensemble competition at UW-Eau Claire. Each event earned a 1 rating and a gold medal. Congratulations to all participants!
